Our Process
Cleaning and Surface Preparation:
To ensure proper adhesion, the metal surface must be clean and contaminant-free. This involves:

Degreasing: Removing oils, grease, and dirt with cleaning solutions.

Chemical Cleaning: Using treatments like acid baths to eliminate residual residues.

Phosphating: Applying a conversion coating to enhance corrosion resistance and powder bonding.

Rinsing:
After cleaning, the surface is rinsed with water to remove any chemicals or residues from the cleaning process. Sometimes, a final rinse with deionized or distilled water is used to avoid leaving mineral deposits.

Drying:
The cleaned surface needs to be thoroughly dried. Any residual moisture can lead to poor powder adhesion and defects in the coating. This is often done in an oven or with hot air.

Masking:
If there are areas on the part that should not be coated (such as threads or holes), they are covered with a masking material (such as tape, plugs, or rubber caps) to prevent powder from adhering to those areas.

Inspection:
After preparation, the part is inspected for any contaminants or defects in the surface. This ensures that only high-quality parts move forward to the powder coating stage.
